What is HoTS?

A joint research project of the Universities of Bern and Vienna (2023–2027), HoTS investigates the history of theatre studies in Switzerland and Austria from the margins — tracing the discipline's roots in National Socialism and the exclusionary mechanisms that shaped it long afterward.
